With the recognition of the academic and scientific-research focus on the further development of the educational process within the International University Travnik, and having in mind the presence of IUT in the academic and educational scene of Europe and the world, Academician, Prof. Dr Ibrahim Jusufranic, Rector of IUT, signed in October 2018 another Memorandum of Understanding, with a university ranked among the world’s top 100 universities.
Namely, on behalf of the University of Malaya from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, a university ranked as 87th in the world’s top universities, the Memorandum of Understanding for Academic Cooperation was signed by the Vice-rector, Datuk.Ir. (DR) Abdul Rahim Hashim, with the signature of the present Dato’ Assoc. Prof. Dr Johan Shamsuddin HJ. Sabaruddin, Dean of the Law Faculty of MU, while on behalf of the International University Travnik, from Travnik, Bosnia and Herzegovina, the MoU was signed by: Academician, Rector, Prof. Dr. Ibrahim Jusufranić, with the signature of the present Assoc. Prof. Dr and Dr. Honoris Causa Sabahudin Hadžialić, Head of International Relations.
Academic cooperation will focus on the exchange of students and / or academic and administrative staff; joint research activities; the exchange of publications and other academic materials and information, with sharing of other activities and programs in areas of mutual interest, where such sharing will result in benefits to both parties. At the very beginning, cooperation is in focus on cooperation between the law faculties of both universities, with the possibility of further enhancement between other faculties of the MU and IUT as well.
Having in mind the cooperation with the university of this ranking, the International University Travnik this time also presented another proof of continuous commitment in shaping up of the another more quality, when it comes to academic – educational – scientific – research cooperation within the highest level.
