Inspiringly and methodologically focused on the further development of international academic-educational contacts with the aim of upgrading of the cooperation within all forms of higher education appearances, International University Travnik in August 2018 established cooperation with a higher education institution from Indonesia –Universitas Indonesia from Depok, Indonesia. Memorandum of Understanding was signed on behalf of the IUT, Academician, Rector, Prof.dr. Ibrahim Jusufranić and on behalf of UI, Rector, Prof.Dr.lr, Muhammad Anis, M.Met.

University of Indonesia is ranked among the 290 best universities in the world, and with 47.000 students of all levels of study within the Campus of 3,59 km2, which once again shows that quality recognizes the quality within the academic community so that Bosnia and Herzegovina, but first and foremost, the International University Travnik and the Middle Bosnia Canton receives positive confirmation for the decade of IUT investment in all forms of academic and research work in these areas.

The goal of the signed Memorandum of understanding is expressed within joint aspiring to strengthen and development the collaboration development and creative links in educational and scientific activity on the basis of the principles of Bologna Agreement and integration on the basis of equality, reciprocity, mutual academic and educational benefits towards faculties, although as well as towards both institutions.

Accordingly, there will be established contacts between faculties of similar or identical curriculum of both universities in order to improve curriculum development, with the aim of improving teaching methodology, technological innovation, research and development, as well as adopting of cutting edge practice, with the planned joint participation in the organization of conferences, seminars, short- term study programs and bilateral academic meetings of the mutual interest.

Both Universities, signatories to this MoR, will jointly check and follow this MoR in the form of a Agreement of Implementation (UOl) which will be formulated no later than 6 (six) months after the signing of this MoR. UOI will involve cooperation on student and staff mobility.

Within the determination of given concrete joint actions, it has been also appointed, for this occasion, a special Coordinators on behalf of universities, they are, on behalf of UI, Head of International Office, Dr. S. S. Widyahening, M .: S: M.So. -CMFM, Ph.Diand on behalf of IUT, Authorized Coordinator and Head of International Relations Office, Assoc. Prof. Dr. and Dr. Honoris Causa Sabahudin Hadžialić.
