Following the implementation of the Erasmus mobility program, IUT staff visited Kazimieras Simonavičius University in Lithuania

As part of the continuation of the implementation of the Erasmus mobility program, the academic and administrative staff of the International University of Travnik visited Kazimieras Simonavičius at the University of Vilnius in Lithuania.

Professor at the Faculty of Economics Travnik Azra Ahmić and Student Affairs Officer Amina Fuško during their visit to Kazimieras Simonavičius University had the opportunity to get acquainted with the way of work and functioning of one of the leading private universities in Lithuania.

Professor Azra gave several very interesting lectures to students on the current and innovative topic of sustainability management in companies. Students were given the opportunity to gain new insights into the sustainability of the company, as successful management and control of the organization through efficient management of internal resources, external resources, important stakeholders and timely capture and creation of market opportunities that ensure long-term prosperity for the company.

According to Professor Azra, the new teaching experience, meeting professors and other university staff is complemented by learning about the history, culture, customs and natural beauty of Lithuania – especially Vilnius, as the capital of Lithuania, and Trakai, the former capital.

As part of her professional training, Amina Fuško visited the Student Service of Kazimieras Simonavičius University and on that occasion exchanged experiences with colleagues from Lithuania. Finally, she said that the Erasmus project provides an invaluable life experience whose value lies in the combination of circumstances arising from the adventure itself, the knowledge gained through experience and getting to know other cultures with different perspectives.
