Students from the Faculty of Economics in Travnik organized a workshop “Small School of Entrepreneurship” for high school students

Students of the Faculty of Economics of the International University Travnik organized a workshop “Small School of Entrepreneurship” for students of the secondary economic school in Travnik.

The aim of the workshop was to raise students’ knowledge of the importance of entrepreneurship and the possibility of cooperation between pupils and students in the field of economics. The purpose of the workshop was to introduce students to the notion of entrepreneurship, which is essentially the basis of today’s economy. The workshop consisted of a brief presentation on the historical development, the notion and importance of entrepreneurship both in the global economy and in the economy of Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as on a start-up business that occupies an increasingly important position in the essence of entrepreneurship. The creative task helped students to practically apply everything they learned that day through group work in terms of developing ideas and forming their own start-up business, and presenting their products (services) to their colleagues with the exchange of ideas and questions that formed themselves.
