With the aim of introducing students of academic, master and doctoral studies with the European Academic Community, the International University Travnik organized the II Days of International Lectures.

This year, guests of the International University Travnik were also distinguished lecturers from regional and European universities. The first lecture was held by Hon.D.Sc. Predrag Dašić on “Software Application for Statistical Process Control”. Professor Dašić is a member of the World Academy of Sciences, Engineering and Technology, the World Academy for Research in Science and Engineering, the International Academy of Engineers, the Russian Royal Academy of Science and Arts, the foreign member of the Ukrainian Engineering Academy, a patron of the New York Academy of Sciences, Honorary Director of the International Bibliographic Center from Kembridza and a distinguished lecturer at numerous colleges and higher education institutions.

After Dašić, a lecture was given by students to Prof. dr. sc. Mario Anžek, Editor-in-Chief of the magazine “PROMET – Traffic and Transportation” on “How to be Successful in Writing and Publishing Professional and Scientific Articles”. Professor Anžek conveyed his knowledge and skills to writing scientific and professional work, introduced them about writing articles, selecting titles, and creating successful, high-quality and internationally competitive work.

Professor Mario Anžek gave a lecture on the structure of articles, the IF factor and other factors essential to the advancement of students and researchers in the field of science and science.

Professor from relevant Universities from Italy, Poland and Latvia, Dr. Gilberto Marzano, for the second time participated in the International Lecture Days. Professor Gilberto gave a lecture on “Cybersecurity” this year. Professor Marzano is a representative of the Eco Institute of Italy, Head of the Pedagogical Laboratory and the Research Institute of Regional Studies at Rezekne University in Rezekne, Latvia, Professor at the University Janusz Korczak of Warsaw, Poland, and a member of the Council of Professors at the PhD School of Economics, Environment and Landscape at the University Udine, Italy

A special guest of this year’s International Lecture Days was Jörgen Eriksson, MSc, High Representative Business Community from the UK and a University Professor from Catalonia, Spain and Monaco who delivered a lecture on “Place Excellence: Vision and Challenges to Manage Cities and Towns” (“Place of Excellence: Vision and Challenges of Managing Towns and Settlements”).

Erikkson is the founding partner of Bearing Consulting, UK, and a full-time member of the “Innovation Management” module.

A creative and inspirational professional with over 20 years of experience within the international strategy and innovation consulting for public and private sector executives / directors on four continents. It is involved in advisory role in the development of innovation systems, development and evaluation of strategies, market studies, branding, site management and internal investment strategy. If required, an expert in innovation management, strategy development, business risk assessment, risk management and mitigation, integration after merger, project financing, and development of international expansion.It has a strong global connectivity network.
