Overview: Participants will benefit from intensive training in the fundamentals of the software package STATA. They will learn how to use the STATA interface, import and export data, organise data sets, visualise data, identify trends, conduct basic analytics and test hypothesis in randomized trials.
Trainer: The training will be delivered by Dr Imran Alvi (DPhil, MPhil Oxon). He is a specialist in econometrics and holds a DPhil from the University of Oxford, Balliol College. Dr Alvi has lectured and delivered training internationally.
Fee: Course fees include all training material, lunch and coffee at the 5 star Hotel Hills. The full fee is €195. Students and academics will receive a 70% scholarship making the fee €58. If a university registers 10 students the discounted price will be €45 per participants.
