At the Faculty of Traffic and Transport Engineering studies are managed in two models: 3 +2 +3 and 4 +1 +3 which means 3 or 4 years of undergraduate program, 2 or 1 year of master program and 3 years of doctoral program. Student can choose the model by which he wants to study at every department

Undergraduate degree programs (I cycle, 3+2+3 and 4+1+3) are:

Postgraduate master  programs (II cycle, 3+2+3 and 4+1+3) are:

  • Management in Traffic
  • Safety in Traffic
  • Transport and Logistics Management
  • Road and Urban Traffic
  • Urban Traffic and Transport

Postgraduate doctoral programs (III cycle, 3+2+3 and 4+1+3) are:

  • Traffic
  • Road and Urban Traffic
  • Management in Traffic
  • Telecommunications
  • Safety in Traffic

Competencies

Transport and Traffic Engineering program is orientated to research training and training for analytical approach to engineering and implementation of innovations in organizational improvement of traffic and transport systems by applying scientific methods for mathematical modeling. Within this program student will be educate to acquire: methods of scientific-research work, scientific methods and research procedures of traffic, transport and technical-technological processes; basics of decision theory, method and techniques of improvement contemporary traffic and transport processes; independent research work and practical appliance of reached scientific and technical and technological achievements
Students who enroll and finish this program can work in different organizations, institutions, enterprises in public or private sector of traffic and transport such as: secretaries for traffic, urban institutes technical inspection, designing organizations, section for traffic safety within ministry of the interior affairs, institutes for expertise, car companies, driving schools, high and higher technical school, computer control centers, statistic institutes, scientific institutes, transport companies, international forwarding, bus stations,  maintenances, communal societies and other  transport enterprises in public or private property.

Professional or academic title awarded upon completion of the program:

Undergraduate degree program (I cycle):

  • Bachelor (baccalaur – es/eus – engineer of traffic and transport engineering with specification of 180 ECTS or 240 ECTS and finished program

Postgraduate master program (II cycle):

  • Master of traffic and transport engineering with specification of finished program

Postgraduate doctoral (Ph.D.) program (III cycle):

  • Doctor of technical science with specification of finished program
