At the Faculty of Ecology studies are managed in two models: 3 +2 +3 and 4 +1 +3 which means 3 or 4 years of undergraduate program, 2 or 1 year of master program and 3 years of doctoral program. Student can choose the model by which he wants to study at every department.

Undergraduate degree programs (I cycle; 3+2+3 and 4+1+3) are:

  • Applied Ecology
  • Environmental Protection System

Postgraduate master programs (II cycle, 3+2+3 and 4+1+3):

  • Applied Ecology
  • Environmental Protection System
  • Preservation of biodiversity

Postgraduate doctoral programs (III cycle; 3+2+3 and 4+1+3) are:

  • Ecology and Environmental Protection System
  • System Engineering
  • Environmental protection in cities

Competences

The objective of this program is to educate experts who will be able to act independently and to improve measures of environmental protection, prevention and precaution measures and methods of surveillance on production flow during the life time. Educating on this faculty will make possible for students to develop essential creativity and coping in new situations while solving concrete problems in profession.

Students who finish one of the study courses at the Faculty of Ecology can work in governmental bodies, government and nongovernment organizations, institutes of environmental, health and urban protection and other that deal with realization of ecological projects, enterprises and educational institutions and other organizations whose aim is preservation  and improvement of physical environment

Professional or academic title awarded upon completion of the program:

Undergraduate degree program (I cycle):

  • Bachelor (baccalaur – es/eus – engineer of ecology with specification of 180 ECTS or 240 ECTS and finished program

Postgraduate master program (II cycle):

  • Master of ecology with specification of finished program

Postgraduate doctoral (Ph.D.) program (III cycle):

  • Doctor of ecological science with specification of finished program
