Agreement On Library Cooperation Signed Between The International University Of Travnik And The Public Institution City Library Travnik

Rector of the International University Travnik, Academician, prof. Dr. Ibrahim Jusufranić and the director of the Public Institution City Library Travnik, Dr. sc. Dženan Kos, signed an agreement on cooperation which represents a general framework for institutional cooperation and enables the development of specific cooperation programs of mutual interest.

With this agreement, the Public Institution City Library Travnik and the International University Travnik aim to establish cooperation in promoting scientific-research, professional and business cooperation between the two institutions.

Also, a special agreement enhances institutional cooperation in the field of library activities, which will be realized through activities to improve libraries, staff development, interlibrary loan, promotion of cultural and scientific activities of libraries, and promotion of the COBISS.BH system.

Rector of the International University of Travnik, Academician, prof. Dr. Ibrahim Jusufranić pointed out that thanks to the signed agreement, students will get a large capital and the opportunity to acquire new knowledge, considering that the Public Institution City Library Travnik is connected to the system of librarianship in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The International University of Travnik has previously had cooperation with the Public Institution City Library Travnik, but thanks to the new improved contract it will be improved in the field of library activities, said the director of the Public Institution City Library Travnik, Dr. sc. Dženan Kos. He added that the City Library of Travnik is expanding its mission and activity to universities, and is improving its special library activity with working conditions, both with new users, the capacity of books and everything that the library provides to citizens.
