Students from the Faculty of Ecology of Travnik participate in the construction of a study for the construction of the Waste Management Center

Workers of the Public Utility Company “Bašbunar Travnik” together with the students of the Faculty of Ecology at the International University Travnik started the realization of a self-sustainable waste management project for Travnik Municipality.

The German Ministry of the Environment provided funds for drawing up a study to build a Waste Management Center in order to solve the many years of problem of the municipalities of Travnik, Vitez, Novi Travnik and Busovaca.

The total value of this project is 200,000 euros, however, the goal is to implement the project and build a waste management center that will cost between five and seven million euros. This project includes the students of the Faculty of Ecology of Travnik, who in the first phase are working on analysis and studies for the construction of the Waste Management Center for the municipalities of Travnik, Vitez, Novi Travnik and Busovača. By implementing this project, all municipalities would save significant funds, with the aim of minimizing waste and recycling
