ACADEMICIAN, PROF.DR IBRAHIM JUSUFRANIĆ AWARDED WITH THE TITLE OF HONORARY PROFESSOR OF ACEDEMIC UNION FROM OXFORD, GREAT BRITAIN

During the annual general meeting of the Academic Union in Oxford, England, held on 20.12.2016, where traditionally gather academics and scientists, rectors of leading universities and educational institutions, regional and international business entrepreneurs, as well as representatives of the corporate sector along with selected representatives of the public sector, this year Academician, Rector, Prof. Ibrahim Jusufranić is awarded with the title of Honorary professor Academic Union in Oxford, United Kingdom”.

This, extremely significant academic title is awarded to the overall scientific, educational and research contribution to the development of education, and scientific process, not only in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the region, but also beyond, within the comprehensiveness of the Academic Union of Oxford. Rector Jusufranić on that occasion received a professorial robes and chain and nominal diploma.

At the Summit of Oxford attended around 100 attendees from more than 50 countries and the discussion was about the investment in science and education as well as assumptions of the quality investment in the future, and the words of our Rector, which he pronounced after receiving the title that was handed to him by Dr. John Netting, Director General of the Europe Business Assembly and Dr. Vincent Kostiolja, Honorary President of the Academic Union of Great Britain, certainly show the importance of the award itself: “Simply saying, everything I do and realized within my academic, professional, research and business orientation is exactly within the slogan of IUT For a life full of possibilities because gained knowledge and skills at the IUT just go towards that direction. .This title is not only an honor and obligation, both for me and as well as for all staff of the International University Travnik, from professors, associates and to administrative staff, but it is also the initial direction to proceed with further methodological shaping of improvement of lecturing and research, but as well as of the scientific research processes within our university. This title is inspired, logical sequence of lengthy research, both domestic and international level of cooperation in line with the orientations of the innovative improvements of their own, and thus eo ipso and targeted general knowledge “.
